According to the mayor, the planting of vineyards is carried out using advanced agricultural technologies. For example, one of the farms uses mechanized planting under a hydraulic drill. This method not only increases the survival rate of plants, but also accelerates the vineyard’s reaching full productivity.

As Razvozhaev noted, since 2014, thanks to state support, 3.5 thousand hectares of new vineyards have already been planted in Sevastopol, about 250 thousand tons of grapes have been harvested and the fleet of agricultural machinery has been updated.
This year, almost 740 million rubles have been allocated for the development of the viticulture and winemaking industry, 98% of which has already been distributed to enterpriseshe added.
Earlier, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Denis Kratyuk reported that in 2025, 1012 hectares of vineyards and 700 hectares of orchards were planted in Crimea.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said in November this year that Russia shows high growth rates among the leading grape growing countries. Thus, since 2020, the area under vineyards has increased by 14%.
