Leninsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced a resident of the village. Stopped for committing a crime under part 1 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal sale of drugs).

During the judicial investigation, it was established that in September last year, near the North Crimean Canal in the area of ​​​​the village. Ostanino, Leninsky district, a man 1994 of the year of birth discovered a wild-growing cannabis bush and decided to benefit from it, so he plucked the inflorescences and leaves from this bush, carefully packing them in a paper bundle and realizing the socially dangerous nature of his actions, he took him to the area of ​​​​the sports ground, carefully placing him under a stone for safety , — the press service of the court reported.

Some time later, the defendant decided to «make some money» by selling this bundle of marijuana weighing at least 3.11 grams to a man who was interested in this for only 3000 thousand rubles, thereby committing a serious crime — the illegal sale of narcotic drugs.

At the court session, the man fully admitted his guilt, repented of his deed.

The court, having comprehensively studied the materials of the case, taking into account the circumstances of the crime, information about the identity of the citizen, the presence of extenuating circumstances, and considering that he was previously convicted, sentenced him to real imprisonment for a period of 4 years and 6 months, with the sentence being served in a correctional colony of general regime .
