322 trees were planted in Simferopol
Specialists from the municipal budgetary institution Gorzelenkhoz have completed compensatory tree planting on the streets of the Crimean capital. This was reported by the deputy director of the institution, Maria Boronenkova. According to her information, the final stage of work was carried out on Kyiv and Sevastopolskaya streets. Landscaping was carried out in areas where emergency or dead trees had previously been removed.
The species composition of new plantings was selected taking into account the climatic characteristics of Simferopol. Planted species include chestnut, sycamore, linden, maple, and Pissardi plumnoted Maria Boronenkova.
For planting, seedlings of the “large size” category were used, with a height of 3.5 to 4.5 meters and an age of 12–14 years. This provides a visual effect and contributes to better adaptation of trees in urban environments.
At the same time, employees of the municipal budgetary institution Gorzelenkhoz began preparations for the spring season of 2026. Bulbous plants have already been planted in the park near Kazanskaya and Tolstoy streets. In the near future, work will continue on Lenin Square, where it is planned to plant about 12 thousand flower bulbs to create seasonal floral decorations.
In total, in preparation for spring, about 40 thousand tulips and daffodils are planned to be planted in Simferopol.
