4 out of 10 surveyed Crimeans do not lend money

With a request to borrow money, Crimeans most often turn to the bank, less often to relatives and friends. SuperJob, a high-paying job search service, found out from whom residents borrow money, to whom and how much they lend. Employed economically active citizens took part in the polls.
14% of Crimeans turn to relatives to borrow money. 11% borrow from friends. 5% are borrowed from colleagues, 1% from the employer. 22% of respondents take a loan from a bank. 44% of respondents do not take loans. Citizens most often give loans to relatives (20%), a little less often to friends (16%). 7% of respondents lend money to colleagues at work. 40% of respondents do not lend money— reported in the press service of the service.
Respondents under 34 are more likely to borrow from relatives (20%) and lend more often to friends (25%). Respondents over 45 more often apply for loans to financial institutions (26%), and lend money more often to relatives (27%). Men are more willing to lend money to colleagues than women (9% and 6%, respectively).
