420 pets became patients at Sevastopol state veterinary clinics in October

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In October, state veterinary clinics on Butyrskaya and Mogilevskaya streets provided qualified assistance to 424 pets: 241 cats and 183 dogs. In addition, owners of rodents, ornamental birds and rabbits contacted the clinics. Veterinarians most often encountered diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, skin diseases and allergic reactions, disorders of the genitourinary system, neoplasms of various etiologies, surgical problems and injuries.

Owners brought their animals for routine examinations, vaccinations, treatments for ecto- and endoparasites, and also carried out medical examinations of their pets. This approach makes it possible to detect diseases in the early stages and significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the Sevvetcenter Yulia Shalavinskaya.

One of the most popular services in state veterinary clinics remains free microchipping of pets. The procedure takes only a few minutes, is absolutely safe and does not require special preparation. A microchip is a reliable way to identify a pet: it helps to return a lost pet home and is necessary for unhindered travel outside the region and country.

To date, more than 450 dogs and cats in Sevastopol have undergone microchipping, which greatly simplifies their registration and monitoring of their health status at the regional level.
