9 out of 10 Crimeans try not to make mistakes in business correspondence

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Crimeans observe the rules of the Russian language in working correspondence in social networks and instant messengers more carefully than in personal messages. Young men are the least likely to follow literacy. In a survey of a high-paying job search service SuperJob on the eve of the Day of the Russian language, representatives of the economically active population took part.

9 out of 10 Crimeans claim that they always observe spelling and punctuation in business Internet communication. In personal correspondence, the rules of the Russian language are followed less frequently (81%), but even here the majority tries not to make mistakes. Men are less principled in the matter of literacy: among the stronger sex there are fewer of those who always follow the rules both in business (86%) and in personal correspondence (75%) than among women (94 and 88% respectively)— noted in the press service of the service.

The older generation is more scrupulous about literacy than those who are younger: among citizens over 45, 97% always follow the rules in business correspondence, 84% in personal correspondence, and among respondents under 34 years old, 83 and 76%, respectively.

Demanding on oneself is also growing with an increase in the level of income: among those surveyed with a salary of 80 thousand rubles. 95% are always literate in business communication, 90% in personal communication, among those who earn up to 50 thousand rubles. per month, those are 85 and 76%, respectively.

It is natural that citizens who consider their level of knowledge of the Russian language close to ideal, both in work and in personal messages, observe spelling and punctuation much more often than poor students. However, excellent students admit that they make mistakes: “T9 changes the words-letters!”; “Sometimes I like to laugh, deliberately distorting the spelling. It makes the audience happy.»
