A 34-year-old resident of Sevastopol is accused of a crime against the sexual integrity of children

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol sent to court a criminal case against a local resident born in 1989. He is charged under paragraph «b» part 5 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (other acts of a sexual nature, in relation to two minors under the age of fourteen).

According to investigators, in July 2022, being in a state of alcoholic and drug intoxication at the playground on the street. Shelkunov, a man committed an act of exhibitionism in the presence of two 10-year-old girls. The girls got scared and ran away from the playground. The man followed them for some time and left only after a passing woman warned that she would call the police.the prosecutor’s office said.

On the same day, officers of the Patrol and Guard Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky District of Sevastopol detained a naked man on the territory of maternity hospital No. 1.

The investigation was conducted by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. At the request of the investigator, supported by the prosecutor, the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the man.

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol sent the criminal case to the Sevastopol city court for consideration on the merits. The pervert faces a long term of imprisonment (up to 20 years).
