A 500-kilogram German air bomb was destroyed in Crimea

In the Leninsky district of the Republic of Crimea, near the village of Kamenskoye, sappers destroyed a 500-kilogram German aerial bomb from the Great Patriotic War, as well as shells and hand grenades. This was reported in the channel of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region in Max.

All found ammunition was destroyed on site using an overhead charge of industrial TNT. This decision was made due to the impossibility of transporting an aerial bomb whose mass was 500 kgthe message says.

Local residents reported dangerous findings. It is noted that experts identified the explosive object as an SC-500 aerial bomb made in Germany during the Great Patriotic War. During the survey of the area, sappers also discovered four artillery shells and two hand grenades.

Before carrying out demolition work, the population was notified. Village residents were warned about the upcoming work through a loudspeaker, which ensured the safety of citizens.
