A banal story from Sevastopol: he wanted «romance», she wanted money. Outcome — a criminal case

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Sevastopol operatives detained a local resident suspected of stealing money from her friend. As specified in the police of Sevastopol, earlier the attacker was repeatedly prosecuted for theft.

A 37-year-old man invited his 26-year-old friend to the apartment for a joint pastime. After the guest noticed that a friend took out a wallet with money from a jacket hanging in the wardrobe, she had the intent to steal his savings. During the feast, the girl, under the pretext of going to the toilet, went away, secretly pulled her wallet out of her clothes, stole 10 thousand rubles from it and disappeared. After discovering the loss of cash, the owner of the apartment filed a statement with the police— in the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, they told the details of this banal story.

The thief (not prone to «romance») was detained and has already confessed to her deed. According to her, the money was spent on buying liquor. A criminal case was initiated against the suspect under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 5 years.
