During the event, details of organizing the preparation and holding of the congress of Russian scholars from the Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions were discussed. Attention was also paid to issues of communication with the authorities responsible for this area.
In addition, Sergey Aksenov and Alexander Rudyakov focused on the topic of creating a full-fledged faculty of Russian language and literature on the basis of the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky».
The voiced and other issues are planned to be brought up for discussion during the next meeting of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the implementation of state policy in the field of supporting the Russian language and the languages of the peoples of Russia, which is scheduled for November 19.
Sergey Aksyonov thanked Alexander Rudyakov for constant interaction in the development and protection of the Russian language, and also expressed gratitude to the team of Russian scholars from Crimea for their high achievements, recognized at the all-Russian level. Thus, a team of authors from Crimea — the only regional one — takes part in writing a state textbook on the Russian language for grades 10-11 and for institutions of secondary vocational education.
