A corporate demographic standard is being implemented in the Republic of Crimea
Under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya, a meeting of the Republican Tripartite Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labor Relations was held on December 24.
The event was attended by parties to the social partnership: representatives from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, employers — the Association of Employers of the Republic of Crimea and trade unions — the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Crimea.
Elena Romanovskaya noted during the meeting that the current demographic situation in Russia requires the consolidation of efforts of the state, society and business. In addition to government support measures for families with children, businesses’ own social and demographic policies are becoming increasingly important.
One of the key issues on the agenda of the meeting was the issue of implementing the Corporate Demographic Standard by enterprises of the republic, which is aimed at creating favorable conditions for employees to combine professional and family responsibilities, increasing the motivation of citizens for parenthood, having many children, preserving and strengthening traditional Russian family values.
The corporate demographic standard was developed to facilitate the implementation of decrees of the President of the Russian Federation and is a guideline for corporate policy in the field of social responsibility of business and sustainable development of regions.
To achieve this goal, on December 16, the social partners entered into collective negotiations and plan to make changes to the Republican Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, republican trade union associations, and employer associations for 2025-2027.
The agreement is planned to be supplemented with new obligations of employers to implement corporate social policy measures to support employees with family responsibilities, as well as to approve a Regional standard for employers to support families with children in the Republic of Crimea.
Currently, collective agreements of Crimean employers already include measures aimed at supporting families with children. These include: payment of financial assistance at the birth of a child (Armenian branch of Titanium Investments LLC, Joint Stock Company Crimean Soda Plant, JSC Sanatorium Utes, etc.), additional paid days of leave for the birth of a child, marriage of an employee (JSC Agrofirm Chernomorets, JSC Champagne Wine Factory New World, JSC Fiolent Plant, JSC «Kerch Metallurgical Plant»), release from work with the preservation of the average salary, starting from the 28th week of pregnancy and until maternity leave (JSC «EARZ»), health improvement and recreation for children (Armenian branch of Titanium Investments LLC, JSC Crimean Soda Plant, JSC Champagne Wine Factory «New World», etc.).
During the meeting, other topical issues of social and labor relations were discussed, including Recommendations for employers on the formation of infrastructure and algorithms for the actions of medical workers aimed at preserving the health of workers, including identifying and eliminating pre-risks for the development of diseases and conditions, as well as on the introduction of health-preserving technologies in the workplace.
The commission’s work plan for 2026 was approved at the meeting.
