A Crimean citizen “had fun” — he reported about a false mining of a school. “Joke” about the article
In the Republic of Crimea, the emergency telephone number “112” received a call from an unknown man, who reported that an explosive device had been planted in one of the schools in Simferopol.
An investigative team and police dog handlers with a service dog immediately went to the scene of the incident. During the inspection of the building and territory of the educational institution, specialists did not find any dangerous objects. The information about mining turned out to be false. As a result of the operational search activities carried out, employees of the department for combating cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea identified and detained a suspect in an unlawful act. He turned out to be a 31-year-old unemployed resident of the Simferopol region. The attacker was intoxicated; out of hooligan motives, he called the emergency hotline and provided false information.— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
Based on this fact, the Investigative Department of OP No. 1 “Zheleznodorozhny” of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The defendant was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
