A criminal case has been opened in Crimea regarding the death of a family in an accident

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol opened a criminal case into a traffic accident that resulted in the death of three people (Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

It was established that on October 24, in the evening, a 58-year-old driver of a DONGFENG KC heavy truck, moving along the highway from Kerch in the direction of Simferopol, collided with a LADA car while reversing. As a result of the collision, the passengers of the car: a 34-year-old woman, a 38-year-old man and their 8-year-old son died on the spot, the driver was taken to hospital in serious condition. Currently, investigators are carrying out a set of measures and have ordered all the necessary examinations. During the investigation, all the circumstances of the tragedy will be established.,” the department’s press service reported.

The investigation of the criminal case is under the control of the leadership of the Main Investigation Department.
