A dormitory caught fire in Sevastopol. 8 people rescued from fire

This morning, at 6:10, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about a fire in Sevastopol on Nikolai Muzyka Street. The dorm building was on fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters immediately formed a gas and smoke protection unit to work in an environment unsuitable for breathing and vision. During the reconnaissance, a fire was found in a room on the 2nd floor and the barrel was fired for extinguishing. In parallel, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out the evacuation of residents. 25 people were taken out into the fresh air, including 3 children. Rescued using respiratory and eye protection devices 8 people, including 1 child— reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
Thanks to the competent actions of firefighters, the flame was localized in the shortest possible time, open burning was eliminated. The fire was completely extinguished at 7:08. Its area was 40 square meters — household items and furniture were on fire. No dead, no injured. The causes and circumstances of the incident are established.
In total, 18 personnel and 6 units of equipment worked on the spot from the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
