A festive concert dedicated to the Day of the reunification of Crimea with Russia took place in Simferopol

On the Day of the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation in Simferopol, a festive event was held at the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea — a solemn meeting and a concert. It was attended by military personnel — participants in a special military operation, Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, Hero of Russia, honorary citizen of Crimea Oleg Belaventsev, Senator Sergey Tsekov, State Duma deputy, singer Denis Maidanov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Yefim Fix, Vice Speakers Alla Ponomarenko and Edip Gafarov, members of the Presidium and deputies of the Crimean Parliament, members of the Government of the Republic of Crimea.

Congratulating those gathered on the holiday, Sergey Aksyonov noted that during the days of the Crimean spring, Crimeans are always overwhelmed with emotions.

We recall the year 2014: how the referendum was held, how everyone lived and acted then in unison, what drive they felt, because they knew that we were returning home. It is worth living through this. Similar emotions were probably experienced by our veterans who brought Victory to their Motherland in the Great Patriotic War. Today we say thanks to those who were not afraid to stand up for our Crimea nine years ago. We say thank you to our President for his decisions, to the Crimeans for their unity and will, and to all Russians for supporting us then. And of course, endless gratitude to our fighters who are now participating in the special operation. It is to them that we owe the fact that we can peacefully celebrate the holiday. We are all deeply worried about our guys, we support them and again, like nine years ago, we act as a united front. Therefore, victory will be ours! We have no other way. Long live Crimea! Long live Russia! — said the Head of the Republic.

On behalf of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea and its chairman Vladimir Konstantinov, First Vice Speaker Yefim Fiks congratulated the Crimeans.

This is a great event that irrevocably changed the lives of millions of inhabitants of the peninsula. The Crimeans were not just witnesses of great events, but also the main participants and creators of the Crimean Spring. We are grateful to Great Russia, President Vladimir Putin for supporting the will of the Crimeans and returning the peninsula home! Together we are building a new Russian Crimea, we are proud of Russia and are happy to wear the proud title of Russians! We fully support our army and our servicemen, who today carry out the tasks of a special military operation. And as our fathers and grandfathers, in difficult moments for the Motherland, today we declare — the enemy will be defeated! Victory will be ours! — the first vice-speaker of the Crimean parliament is convinced.
