A foreign car driver with a debt of more than 2 million rubles was detained in Sevastopol
During the “Defaulter” raid, inspectors of the first company of a separate battalion of the State Traffic Inspectorate detained a Lexus, the 46-year-old owner of which had collected a whole “bouquet” of unfulfilled obligations: debts on alimony, taxes and loans totaling 2,156,881 rubles.
The most painful of them is the duty to one’s own family. The unfortunate father apparently decided that alimony was voluntary. The man repaid the debt to his own child in the amount of 32,729 rubles on the spot. However, for prolonged evasion of parental responsibilities, the court has already assigned him 20 hours of compulsory work. Having decided that the state budget would cope without his contributions, the man ignored paying taxes in the amount of 618,000 rubles. In addition, the man, detained by law enforcement officers, bought a Lexus on credit, but one day he stopped making boring monthly payments. The court decided to return the unpaid 1,465,551 rubles to the bank and seize the premium car as repayment.
The police handed over the defaulter’s transport to the bailiffs to make a decision on forced collection of the debt.— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol.
The debtor also has unfulfilled consumer credit obligations in the amount of 56,000 rubles. Well, and the “cherry on the layer cake of debt” is performance fees amounting to more than 150,000 rubles.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol reminds citizens of the need for timely fulfillment of financial obligations, because ignoring them can lead to serious troubles.
