A magnetic storm rages on Earth for the third day in a row

At about 3 a.m. Moscow time, a sudden onset of a magnetic storm of level G2.3, ranging between medium and strong values, was recorded. The event is identified with solar flares on November 5-6, 2025says a message on the Laboratory’s Telegram channel.

It is noted that the planet was touched by the edge of one of the plasma clouds, the bulk of which were expected yesterday.

According to preliminary forecasts, the storm will subside during the day, but the geomagnetic situation on Earth will remain agitated. A new magnetic storm is expected at midnight — according to scientists, it will reach the G2 level.

The geomagnetic situation has been turbulent for several days; the storm has not subsided for the third day in a row. On Friday she started at 6 am and intensified manifold.
