A member of an organized group went on trial for illegal drug sales in Sevastopol
The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol approved the indictment and sent a criminal case to court against a 29-year-old local resident.
He is charged under Part 3 of Art. 30 – clause “a”, part 4, art. 228.1 and part 3 of Art. 30 – part 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs, committed using the Internet, organized by a group, on a significant and especially large scale).
According to investigators, the man, at the suggestion of a friend, wanting to make quick money, joined an organized group that was engaged in the illegal sale of drugs in an online store. Then another friend of theirs joined in this activity. In April 2025, the men received wholesale quantities of marijuana and the drug “a-PVP.” The attackers were supposed to package them into single doses and place them in hiding places, but the police stopped this criminal business.
Almost 17 g of marijuana and about 0.5 kg of “salt” were seized at the place of residence of the accomplices.,” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
The investigation was carried out by the Investigative Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
The city prosecutor’s office sent the criminal case against the 29-year-old Sevastopol resident to the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits. Criminal cases against other accomplices are separated into separate proceedings.
