A new program “My Business” has been launched in Crimea for university students. Students”, aimed at an interactive format for gaining knowledge about entrepreneurial activity and creating their own projects. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

Today we actively support all student endeavors, and we really hope that this program, designed for an interactive format for acquiring knowledge, will be a good start for student business projects. Also, today we have developed a program for the development of creative industries, which includes everything creative that you can imagine, and I am sure that all this is very close to our students. Ultimately, we count on the emergence of new interesting and creative student projects, which, in turn, will be provided with all the necessary support,” noted Irina Kiviko.

The goal of the program is to create conditions for transforming students’ business ideas into structured projects, ready for presentation to investors and participation in grant competitions, as well as contributing to the formation of a personnel reserve for the regional economy.

The program is aimed at three key categories of participants under the age of 35: students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, as well as young people interested in starting their own business.

The result of the program will be the public defense of developed projects before an expert commission. The jury will include successful entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive funding by submitting applications to existing grant platforms and competitions “Student Startup”, “UMNIK” and regional grants.

The program is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy” on the basis of the “My Business” Center of the Republic of Crimea.
