A new tourist route “Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom” is being developed in Crimea
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk held a meeting at which the progress of the implementation of a new tourism project — the 7-day route “Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom” was discussed. The project will unite unique monuments of the ancient, Greco-Roman and Byzantine periods, passing through such Crimean cities as Kerch, Feodosia, Sudak, Yevpatoria, Simferopol and Yalta.
Tourists will be able to touch the heritage of ancient civilizations and see authentic archaeological finds in a week, — Gotsanyuk noted. — Tour operators have been identified and details are being coordinated with municipalities.
In parallel with the preparation of the route, the infrastructure is being updated. “Access roads to the display sites are being repaired, navigation signs are being installed and parking areas are being developed,” said the Chairman of the Government. Project participants are working on preparing application documentation to the federal department to assign the route the status of a national tourist route.
