A piano tuner from Sevastopol was cheated out of 3 million rubles — he “invested” his hard-earned money in “investments”
Representatives of the “analytics department” of an investment firm wrote to the 71-year-old piano tuner in one of the popular instant messengers. Unknown people suggested that he invest a small amount of personal savings and earn several times more.
At first, everything went smoothly — income increased, so the Sevastopol resident sent increasingly larger amounts to the accounts indicated by the attackers. However, on the seventh time, the “analytical department” stopped communicating, and the man’s personal savings became 2,831,372 rubles less.
Dear citizens! If unknown people write or call you in messengers offering “easy money” or “passive income”, remember, free cheese is only in a mousetrap!
