A very strong flare occurred on the Sun. This was reported on the website of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
According to scientists, an outbreak of level X1.4 (very strong) was registered around six in the morning on Monday. The solar activity index is estimated at 7.2 on a ten-point scale.
The last time flares of this class on the Sun were reported was in early February.
As reported, on the Sun on Saturday there was large plasma releasewhich could affect the launch of the lunar mission.
