A QR code for benefits has been introduced in Crimean museums and theaters

Digital technologies are actively used in the cultural sphere today. This process began with the Pushkin Card, when you could come to an institution with an electronic ticket, scan the ticket and enter. Today the list of categories that can come with electronic documents is expanding.noted the Deputy Minister.

She said that the mechanism is simple: a digital ID with a QR code is stored in a mobile phone. It can be shown at the ticket office of a museum or theater, an employee scans the code and immediately issues a discount ticket. As Burova noted, in the past it often happened that visitors forgot paper documents and because of this could not take advantage of the benefits provided. Now this problem has actually been removed.

All republican cultural institutions have already been involved in the project — 15 museums, five theaters and two cinema and concert organizations. For this purpose, the necessary equipment was purchased, employees were trained and instructed. Information about the new opportunity was posted on the official websites of institutions and on social networks, and the digital ID was officially included in the list of documents confirming the right to benefits.

To receive a QR code, you must register with Gosuslugi and confirm your identity. There are several options: if you have previously received a foreign passport or driver’s license with biometrics, the program automatically generates a QR code for a digital ID. And if there is no biometrics, then the data must be additionally confirmed— said Burova.

At the same time, she clarified that the Internet is required to display the QR code, so visitors, in conditions of periodic connection slowdowns, are recommended to prepare in advance and take a screenshot.
