A repeat offender was detained in Sevastopol
Previously, the attacker was prosecuted three times for robbery and extortion, but continued to add new episodes to his criminal biography.
It was established that an acquaintance approached the 39-year-old man with a complaint about his 40-year-old neighbor, who was allegedly rowdy and behaving inappropriately. A friend experienced in “solving non-standard issues” agreed to have a “preventive” conversation with the troublemaker, and in the evening the two of them went to showdown.
Since the neighbor was not at home, the couple waited for him to return on the staircase, and when he returned, they went into the apartment with him. During the conversation, the uninvited guest demanded 10 thousand rubles from the man for no reason and hit him in the face to convince him. Having received a refusal from the victim and an explanation that there was no money, the robber snatched his mobile phone from his hands and left.— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
As a result of operational-search activities, criminal investigation officers of the Russian Department of Internal Affairs for the Balaklava region identified the suspect and, with the force support of the special unit SOBR “Sokol” of the Russian Guard, detained him. A stolen smartphone was seized from the detainee’s residence address.
The investigator of the territorial police department opened a criminal case against the defendant under paragraph “g” of Part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”, he faces up to seven years in prison. The attacker was detained in accordance with Art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
