A resident of Feodosia kept a whole range of drugs and psychotropic substances at home

As a result of operational search activities, police officers discovered and seized a wide range of narcotic and psychotropic substances in the suspect’s apartment. In addition, drug paraphernalia was found and confiscated, including scales designed to accurately weigh illicit substances.

According to the expert’s conclusion, the seized substances contained a derivative of N-methylephedrone (salt) weighing 3.95 grams, the narcotic drug mephedrone weighing 0.81 grams, tablets with the potent substance «Tramadol» weighing 15.6 grams, parts of a plant of the genus Cannabis weighing 1.93 grams, capsules with the potent substance «Pregabalin» weighing 72.35 grams, the circulation of which is prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the department’s press service reported.

The investigation established that the attacker ordered raw materials and equipment for the synthesis of narcotic substances through the shadow segment of the Internet in order to produce a deadly potion for personal use.

The Investigative Department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Feodosia opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, production, processing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues.” The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 10 years. The suspect is under recognizance not to leave the place and proper behavior.
