A resident of Feodosia was sentenced to 8 years in prison for corrupting children in public places

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol was recognized by the court as sufficient for sentencing a 37-year-old handyman from Feodosia. He was found guilty of committing other acts of a sexual nature and indecent acts without the use of violence against minors.
The Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases and the court established that on May 30, 2022, a man committed an act of exhibitionism on a children’s sports ground located on the territory of the Komsomolsky Park of Feodosia in the presence of children walking there at the age of 10. The attacker was detained by students of the local technical school, who were relaxing in the park, and handed over to law enforcement officers.
During the investigation, it was also established that the day before, the same citizen had committed a similar crime in the presence of eight children aged 7 to 10 years old on the territory of a playground located between houses along Baranovskaya Street and Starshinov Feodosia Boulevard— reported in the Sledkom.
The person involved in the criminal case was identified by the children in the presence of their legal representatives. The necessary examinations and other investigative actions were carried out in order to collect and consolidate the evidence base.
Today, by a court verdict, the man was found guilty of the alleged crimes and sentenced to 8 years in prison to be served in a strict regime correctional colony.
