A resident of Sevastopol was sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime colony for sexual crimes against minors

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol was recognized by the court as sufficient for sentencing a 41-year-old resident of the Balaklava district. He was found guilty of committing violent acts of a sexual nature against minors.
The Investigation Department for the Balaklava District and the court established that from July to December 2021, a man committed sexual acts against his 7-year-old daughter and her girlfriends aged 9 and 10. Crimes were committed during joint walks, as well as when the girls were visiting their household.
The schoolgirls were intimidated by the intruder, but one of them still dared to tell her parents about these facts. At the same time, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol carried out a preventive raid on the villages of the Balaklava region, during which the girls’ parents reported crimes against their children.— reported in the Investigative Committee.
The suspect was arrested on April 19 last year. At the request of the investigator, the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention, where he is currently.
During the investigation, all the necessary evidence was collected confirming the commission of sexual crimes against minors by a resident of Balaklava.
By a court decision, the man was found guilty of the incriminated acts and sentenced to 16 years in prison to be served in a penal colony with a further restriction of freedom for a period of one and a half years.
