A resident of the Pervomaisky district was found guilty of rehabilitation of Nazism and abuse of the flag of the Russian Federation

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol were recognized as a 49-year-old resident of the village of Pervomaisky district to be sentenced by the court. He was found guilty of desecrating symbols of military glory of Russia and insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, committed publicly, as well as abuse of the state flag of the Russian Federation (part 3 of article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Article 329 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigation and the court found that on September 19, 2024, a defendant in the premises of the grocery store of the village of Pervomaiskoy defiled the state flag of the Russian Federation and the St. George ribbon depicted on a box for gum aid.
The attacker was established and detained by employees of the Republican Department of the FSB of Russia.
The investigation collected a sufficient evidence base confirming the guilt of a resident of the Pervomaisky district in committed crimes.
He was sentenced to one year in prison in a colony-settlement. He is also deprived of the right to engage in activities related to participation in public-mass events for a period of two years.
