A safe urban environment is being created in Sevastopol — pedestrian paths are being improved

In the area of ​​kindergarten No. 131 on October Revolution Avenue, the pedestrian infrastructure is being improved. The project is aimed at creating a comfortable and safe urban environment for residents and especially for young pedestrians attending kindergarten.

We are creating a full-fledged pedestrian zone with a length of about 600 meters — previously there were no sidewalks in this area, which made it difficult for parents and children to move safely. Now there will be a single, convenient and accessible pedestrian network connecting residential buildings with a kindergarten— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy director of the department for the operation of municipal facilities, Alexey Zubarev.

As part of the work, it is planned to install more than 1,300 linear meters of curbs, which will clearly mark the boundaries of the sidewalks and give the landscaped area a neat and complete look. Asphalt will be laid on a total area of ​​more than 1 thousand square meters, and paving slabs will cover about 800 square meters of the pedestrian network. To increase the comfort of citizens, it is also planned to install 8 benches and 7 trash bins, which will make the new area not only functional, but also pleasant for relaxation.
