A section of the route from Crimea to the Kherson region was put into operation after repairs

The repair of the highway bordering the Kherson region was carried out under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. Under the same project, the repair of five sections of highways of regional and intermunicipal importance was completed, the total length of which was about 30 kilometers.

The road repair process was complex and was carried out in several mandatory technological stages. First, heavy equipment such as milling cutters and excavators were used to completely dismantle the old, worn-out road surface. The base was carefully compacted using vibratory rollers. The next key stage was the laying of a new asphalt concrete pavement,” the relevant ministry reported.

The final work was aimed at ensuring road safety.
