A student scientific circle «Urological Academy» was opened at the Crimean Federal University

On the basis of the Clinical Medical Multidisciplinary Center of St. Luke of the Crimean Federal University, a scientific circle «Urological Academy» was opened. It was organized by students of KFU. IN AND. Vernadsky to acquire scientific and practical experience in urology.

We have the right to teach what we are best at. And they must confirm this in practice, and the KFU clinic is really the best in urology. Scientific circles are those communities that are tied to practical medicine and are constantly looking for something new, experimenting, collecting data. I am very pleased that today the students themselves became the initiators. They must receive knowledge that they have not yet managed to enter into textbooks. The circle will work in five areas: endoscopic urology, laparoscopic urology, urogynecology, oncourology, andrology. The doctors of the clinic will become the mentors of the students.

We will regularly meet at meetings, analyze interesting, complex clinical cases, make scientific reports, write scientific articles in collaboration with doctors, and carry out manipulations under the supervision of a doctor. The specialists of the clinic will give us master classes on ultrasound, minimal interventions, and operational aspects. Students will also have the opportunity to assist in operations.— says the organizer of the scientific circle, chairman of the Council of Students of the Medical Academy of KFU Mukhamed Aliyev.

The circle is open to all medical students of the university. The meetings will be held in Russian and English. Already 25 domestic and foreign students of the Medical Academy of KFU have applied for admission.

The purpose of the scientific association is to promote the professional orientation of future specialists, develop their clinical thinking and integrate students into work in real conditions.
