A suspect in possession of drugs was detained in the Dzhankoy district. Got caught looking for a «bookmark»

In the Dzhankoy district, police patrol officers noticed a young man who was looking for something in the bushes. At the sight of the police officers, he threw a bundle on the ground, inside of which there was a polymer bag with a light-colored crystalline substance. Law enforcement officers detained the attacker, he turned out to be a 25-year-old local resident. The young man explained that he ordered a narcotic drug on one of the Internet sites for his own consumption. Having received the coordinates and data on the «package», he came to the specified address.

The content has been submitted for review. According to the results of the study, the bundle contained a narcotic drug — a derivative of N-methylephedron, weighing 0.99 grams— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

At present, the interrogating officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Dzhankoysky» has initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, without the purpose of selling narcotic drugs in a significant amount). The sanction of this article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to three years.
