A Ukrainian Armed Forces drone was neutralized near the St. George Monastery in Sevastopol

Parts of a modern weapon fell on the territory during the evening attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Sevastopol on April 5. The neutralization operation was carried out by specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the city of Sevastopol.

Before the events, special attention was paid to the safety of citizens: residents of nearby houses were notified of the need to temporarily leave the area near the work. All emergency services were ready to provide assistance. The actions of the involved forces were coordinated by representatives of the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for Sevastopol and the city Department of Public Security,” the department’s press service reported.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations removed the warhead from the drone and took it to a training ground, where it was destroyed through a controlled detonation.
