A young lady was detained in Sevastopol and is suspected of stealing a gold ring from a barber

A couple of young people came to the barbershop to receive a standard service — a haircut for a man. While the whole procedure lasted, the girl sat in the waiting area, looked at the interior and accidentally noticed a sparkle on the chair — it turned out to be a gold ring with a white stone. The local resident liked the jewelry so much that she immediately took it into her hands.

Her lover had his hair cut, he paid for the procedure and they left satisfied and happy, although for different reasons. At the same moment, the barbershop employee began looking for his ring, but all attempts were unsuccessful. Then he contacted the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district with a statement about the theft of jewelry worth more than 50 thousand rubles,” the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol announced the details.

Employees of the criminal investigation department identified and detained a 35-year-old local resident with a penchant for beautiful shiny things. The police also found out that the girl had given the ring to a pawnshop. She admitted guilt and repented.

A criminal case has been initiated against the person detained by the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. According to the sanctions of the article, she faces up to five years in prison.
