On May 27, in the Kapsel bay near Sudak, the opening of the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries will take place. The year-round educational center of the new format will become the core of the Tavrida.ART youth and educational resort and one of the leading platforms in Russia for creating projects in the field of culture, art and creative industries.
A press tour is planned for media representatives, which will immerse participants in the history of the Tavrida art cluster and reveal the main areas of work of the year-round educational center — the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries.
The program of the press tour includes travel, accommodation and three meals a day. In addition, representatives of the media and new media will be able to get acquainted with the territory of the Academy and attend various events aimed at immersing themselves in the creative industries. The program on May 25-26 will include events for designing the shooting day of the opening, a tour of the territory of the Academy and adjacent territories, acquaintance with the educational programs of the Academy, as well as the format of teamwork “Feel like a participant in Tavrida”. A rich evening program from the Grinkevich group and residents of the art cluster will create a special atmosphere.
The official opening of the Academy will take place on May 27. As part of the event, a large press conference with honored guests is planned.
Meganom Academy of Creative Industries is a new concept of educational environment for young representatives of culture, art and creative industries. This is a platform where you can get professional education under the supervision of recognized leaders in the areas and take part in interactive projects prepared in cooperation with leading institutions and corporate partners.
Every year, thousands of participants aged 18 to 35 from all regions of Russia will be able to take part in face-to-face intensives, advanced training and retraining programs, project schools, as well as remote cultural and educational programs of the Meganom Academy. Students will be recruited on a competitive basis based on the results of a creative and professional test. During their implementation, participants will be able to show their skills and abilities, receive expert assessment and practical advice for the implementation of their ideas and projects.
By the opening of the Academy, five residential buildings for students and teachers, a canteen, a hospitality center, an exhibition hall and other technological facilities were erected on an area of 27 hectares. On the territory of the Academy there are modern creative spaces for architects, musicians, artists and designers, directors, writers and representatives of other creative professions. The first creative laboratories, multimedia studios for recording music, podcasts, photo and video shooting are being tested in a pilot mode, a printing house, choreographic and rehearsal rooms for the simultaneous training of 1,000 people will soon appear.
The grand opening of the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries will take place on May 26–27 in Crimea. The program will be attended by representatives of the expert community of the art cluster and public opinion leaders, residents and ambassadors, representatives of NGOs and government institutions.
Participants and guests will get acquainted with the Academy in the format of interactive tours, quests and quizzes, attend lectures and master classes. The cultural program will reveal the main meanings of the project, introduce the history of the Tavrida art cluster and its promising future. The event will feature the quintet «Legends of Taurida» by Igor Butman with young jazz musicians-residents of the art cluster, and a bright show program is also planned — a tribute by the group «Ivanushki international», dedicated to the legend of «Tavrida» Igor Matvienko with the participation of the groups «Fabrika», «Roots ”, Alexander Ivanov and the Rondo group, the first multimedia exhibition in the Crimea “Day Four”, which was based on the work of young contemporary artists. The performance «Dreamcatchers» by the street theater «Plasticine Rain» from Samara will become part of the cultural program of the opening. Acrobatic performances on stilts, unusual clown performances and street performances are loved by the audience not only in Russia but also abroad.
