Aeroflot is 100 years old: the airline's most popular destinations in Russia and abroad

Analysts of direction air tickets of Tutu travel service (https://avia.tutu.ru/) found out which routes are most popular with passengers «Aeroflot«, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in March. Moscow directions were among the leaders — Saint Petersburg — Moscow — Kaliningrad and Moscow — Sochi. The tickets issued by Tutu’s clients from March 1, 2022 to March 1, 2023 were analyzed.

Most tickets are bought in the direction of Moscow — St. Petersburg (approximately every tenth ticket for passengers «Aeroflot«, issued through Tutu, among domestic directions). The average check for a flight between Moscow and St. Petersburg decreased by 12% over the year (from 5,980 to 5,241 rubles round-trip). In second place in demand is the direction of Moscow — Kaliningrad (average check — 10 195 rubles round-trip), and the Moscow route closes the top three — Sochi (average check — 13 376 rubles there and back). Ekaterinburg, Mineralnye Vody, Kazan, Samara, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok are also popular with passengers from Moscow. Tutu analysts note a significant reduction in average checks for a number of routes from «Aeroflot» in a year.
