On the festive New Year’s Eve, salutes and fireworks will be allowed on the territory of the Republic of Crimea only in private. Pyrotechnics will not be purchased for budgetary funds. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov. He stressed that there is no ban on the sale of festive pyrotechnics in the Republic. In addition, all municipalities and city districts are allowed to organize festive lighting and illumination.
Of course, every city and municipality needs some kind of holiday illumination with budgetary constraints for obvious reasons. It is necessary to take into account the moral aspect: our soldiers on the front lines risk their lives every day, and it is necessary to draw certain boundaries in terms of the amount of entertainment , — said the Head of Crimea.
Sergey Aksyonov added that, taking into account the influx of tourists, the sanatoriums will be able to hold concert programs at their own expense.
