Alcohol, fun, metal ladle and theft: incident in Sevastopol
The 41-year-old woman gathered a group of friends, among whom was a 40-year-old visitor from the Leningrad region.
The guests were having fun, alcohol was flowing like a river, but now it was time to leave. To make it easier for the friends to get home, the hostess offered to call a taxi. Left on the street with the Leningrader, she reached into her purse for her phone, only the guest had already hatched a criminal plan. He grabbed a metal ladle lying on the ground and hit the woman in the arms and elbow with it, after which he took her purse and fled the crime scene. Having examined its contents, the defendant found five thousand rubles in cash, which he immediately took, and everything else seemed uninteresting to him: two mobile phones and a portable speaker. On the way home, he threw away his purse with “unnecessary” things and spent the money on personal needs— reported the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.
Criminal investigation operatives, together with employees of the PPSP Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district, quickly found the attacker, as well as the things he had thrown out, which were returned to the victim. The investigative department opened a criminal case against the detainee under paragraph “g” of Part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”. The defendant was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
