Alcohol sales in apartment buildings will be limited in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, they are preparing to adopt changes to city law No. 93-ZS, aimed at increasing the safety and comfort of residents of apartment buildings. The draft law was submitted by the governor together with a group of deputies to the Legislative Assembly.

Work on the document, on behalf of Mikhail Razvozhaev, took a long time and carefully: the bill underwent detailed study together with deputies of the Legislative Assembly, taking into account appeals from citizens.

The main task was to maintain a balance of interests of residents and entrepreneurs in order to maintain conditions for business development and at the same time ensure peace, order and safety in residential areas.

The main changes concern the operation of cafes, bars and buffets located in apartment buildings. After approval of the document, retail sale of alcoholic beverages when providing catering services in such establishments is permitted only from 10:00 to 22:00 and only if a number of mandatory conditions are met.

A procedure for issuing documents for seasonal service areas is also being established, and local governments will have the authority to determine the boundaries of adjacent territories where the sale of alcohol will be prohibited.

The new law will improve the level of public safety and provide residents with peace and quiet in the evening and at night.
