Almost a hundred tons of agricultural products were sold at fairs in Simferopol over the past weekend

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On Saturday and Sunday, regular agricultural fairs organized by Municipal Unitary Enterprise Metrograd and the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture were held in Simferopol. According to the administration of the Crimean capital, the fair trade was traditionally organized at 9 locations in the city. Crimean farmers presented a wide range of goods to residents and guests of Simferopol: vegetables, fruits, meat and sausage products, dairy products, eggs, fresh-frozen fish, cereals, sunflower oil, natural juices and canned goods, pastries and much more. As a result of the events, commodity producers sold 90.9 tons of fresh products.

Such fair events are an excellent opportunity for the population to buy fresh and high-quality products at a reduced price. Indeed, at the fair, agricultural producers sell their products without intermediaries and margins. The guarantee of high quality of products is ensured by checks for compliance with the requirements of existing state standards and quality control— said the head of the department of trade and consumer services of the administration of Simferopol Oleg Simonov.

He also noted that specialists from Rospotrebnadzor, the veterinary service, MUP Metrograd, the department of administrative and technical control and the police are constantly on duty at the venues of the fairs, which ensures compliance with the rules of trade and service, and also suppresses the facts of spontaneous trade in the adjacent territories.
