Amphetamine dealer convicted in Yalta — 7 years in prison
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Yalta, a 27-year-old resident of the Krasnogvardeisky district of Crimea was found guilty by a court of committing a crime under paragraph “d”, part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal sale of narcotic drugs, committed on a large scale).
The court established that in early August last year, the young man purchased the psychotropic substance amphetamine and the narcotic drug MDMA using the Internet, which he then packaged into doses and stored for further sale. His criminal actions were stopped by law enforcement officers— said the prosecutor’s office.
The Yalta city court, taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, sentenced the drug dealer to 7 years in prison to be served in a strict regime correctional colony. The verdict has not entered into force.
