Academy for the laity at the St. Vladimir Chersonesos Monastery with the participation of the Tauride Theological Seminary with the blessing of Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea.
Before the start of the first lesson, the organizer of the Academy, Vice-Rector of the Taurida Theological Seminary for Academic Affairs, Archimandrite Silouan (Pasenko), addressed the students. The features of the educational process and the training program were presented.
Training at the Academy lasts two years. In the first academic year, it is planned to study Biblical history, the Fundamentals of the liturgical charter and the Catechism. The teaching staff includes members of the administration of the theological school and students who have demonstrated excellence in their studies.
