An accident in the Leninsky district of Crimea: a minor cyclist got under the wheels of a VAZ

The police are checking on the fact of an accident in the Leninsky district of Crimea, as a result of which a minor cyclist was injured.

On April 29, at about 4 p.m. on the road at the exit from the village of Novonikolaevka, a 15-year-old resident of Kerch, riding a bicycle in the direction of the settlement, did not make sure that his maneuver would be safe when turning left, did not give a signal with his hand, as a result of which the driver moving in the same direction car VAZ 2114, which went out to overtake a cyclist, allowed him to run over. From the collision, the VAZ car slid off the roadway to the left into a roadside ditch— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

As a result of the incident, a minor guy was injured, taken to the Kerch city hospital, where the young cyclist was diagnosed with a comminuted fracture of the left leg.

At the scene of an accident, a traffic police squad of the State traffic inspectorate for the Leninsky district worked. An investigation is underway to ascertain all the circumstances of the incident.
