Employees of the State traffic inspectorate of the Simferopol region are checking on the fact of an accident involving a minor cyclist. The accident happened tonight (at 18:00) on Krymskaya Street in the village of Rodnikovoe.
A 13-year-old cyclist, moving from a secondary road towards the main road, did not make sure that the maneuver was safe and did not give priority to the Kia car, which was moving along the main road. As a result of the accident, the minor was injured and was taken to a medical facility— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
Upon the fact of a traffic accident, an investigation is being carried out in order to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. The prosecutor’s office is also investigating.
During the inspection, all the circumstances of the incident will be established, an assessment will be made of compliance with the requirements of traffic safety legislation— reported in the supervisory department.
