A local resident was detained in Crimea, suspected of transmitting data to Ukrainian military intelligence about the location of military facilities and launching a missile attack on a cargo ferry in the port of Kavkaz. This was reported by the Russian FSB Directorate for Crimea and Sevastopol.
The Federal Security Service detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services who was collecting information about the locations of Russian Armed Forces installations on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula.the message says.
According to the department, a 25-year-old resident of the Simferopol region of Crimea established contact via messenger with an employee of the main intelligence department of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. On the instructions of the curator, she collected and transmitted to the enemy information about the locations of military installations, air defense systems, military personnel, and ships in the waters of the Kerch Strait.
In addition, the attacker arrived in the area of the Crimean Bridge, from where she coordinated a missile attack on a freight railway ferry in the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Territory. For these actions, the Crimean woman received remuneration from the Ukrainian special services by transferring funds to her crypto wallet, the FSB specified.
A case has been opened against the detainee under the article “high treason.”
