An educational project on tax literacy «YUNG» is being implemented in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of the All-Russian educational project «YUNGa», the Office of the Federal Tax Service for the city of Sevastopol, with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the city of Sevastopol, organized lessons on tax culture and literacy for students in grades 5-6.
By the end of the school year, lessons are planned for more than 150 students from 46 Sevastopol schools. It should be noted that the materials for conducting lessons were prepared by professional teaching specialists of the Ministry of Education of Russia and are adapted to the age of students. Tax service employees explain to schoolchildren the social function of the state in a playful and accessible way and talk about the costs associated with it. Using clear examples, they show how the contribution of each taxpayer shapes the development and prosperity of the country. Interactive videos and cartoons about taxes, prepared by experts, help students better understand the material.
We would like to remind you that YUNG lessons in Sevastopol began to be held for the first time in 2022.
Tax literacy lessons arouse genuine interest in children, as evidenced by their feedback and assessments of the events.
