According to the investigation, a 28-year-old resident of the city of Saki promised an acquaintance for money to get a driver’s license without passing qualifying exams. However, the potential victim, suspecting something was wrong, promptly contacted law enforcement agencies.
During operational search activities, officers of the FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol detained a man who was trying to steal funds in the amount of 300 thousand rubles by deception. The investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Saki» opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 3 art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted fraud). The sanction of the article provides for punishment of up to six years in prison.
