An evening without words: the poetic theater is preparing an unusual performance in Sevastopol

01 January in the Sevastopol Palace of Culture of fishermen will be a new performance of the poetic theater «Ivory Tower» — «Territory of Silence». The highlight of the event will be that during the entire performance, the artists will not make a single sound. The entrance is free.

According to the press service of the DKR, the uniqueness of the performance lies in the fact that for the first time in the history of performing arts, the audience will plunge into 70 minutes into complete silence. The artists will convey the feelings experienced on stage with plasticity, gestures, facial expressions, and glances.

And, perhaps, a short period of time will come for each of those present to understand their neighbor without words, because all the words in this world exist only to hide genuine human feelings: passion, hatred, tenderness, rage, delight, indifference, love,” the message says.

As noted by Tourist Portal of Crimea, the poetic theater «Ivory Towers» was created on the basis of the Sevastopol Palace of Culture of fishermen in 29 year as a club of theater and poetry lovers. It promotes theatrical art and the best examples of world poetry, helps in developing the creative abilities of participants, and teaches the basics of acting and directing.
