An incorrigible 40-year-old robber will be tried in Simferopol
In Simferopol, the prosecutor’s office approved the indictment in a criminal case against a repeatedly convicted 40-year-old local resident. He is accused of committing crimes under paragraph «d» part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery with the use of violence that is not dangerous to life and health) and paragraph “d” part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft committed with the infliction of significant damage to a citizen, from a bank account).
According to the investigation, in December last year, in the evening, the accused, being near the school on the street. Turgenev in Simferopol, struck a previously unknown victim with punches in the head area, and then took two mobile phones, a wallet and bank cards from his pocket. In the future, using the stolen bank cards, the accused made purchases in a contactless way for a total amount of more than 17 thousand rubles— told the details in the prosecutor’s office.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Central District Court of Simferopol for consideration on the merits.
