An international scientific and technical conference has opened in Alushta

Sergei Aksyonov expressed confidence that the conference will be an excellent basis for the exchange of experience, discuss new ideas and approaches, and establish business contacts.

The name of the event speaks for itself. Technologies, mechanical engineering, engineering personnel — this is all that determines the promotion of technological progress of any state, and, as a result, its sovereignty and independence, as our president repeatedly noted. We must discuss real projects that can be used both in the civilian sphere and to increase the defense capability of our country. We see how quickly the arms systems, electronic warfare, and air defense are changing. Often successful innovations in this direction are the result of the work of enthusiasts. Therefore, it is so important to combine the efforts and potential of all interested parties— believes the head of the republic.

According to Sergei Aksyonov, today Crimea is becoming one of the most promising sites for the testing and implementation of new technologies. “There are many universities in our republic, enterprises that successfully carry out the tasks of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. And we are distinguished by the ability to act quickly and effectively, to navigate and respond to what is happening, so Crimean experience will be in demand for the further technological and industrial development of Russia, ”the head of Crimea said.

Sergei Aksyonov noted the readiness of the authorities to meet with the scientific community based on the results of the event to discuss useful developments and ideas that can be realized for the good of the country and Crimea.

The rector of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov, Genghiz Yakubov, also made a welcoming speech.
